Boundary Waters Berry
Cocktail Recipes

Northwoods Cosmo
 

Ingredients:

  • 1½ oz vodka

  • 1 oz Boundary Waters Berry Syrup

  • ½ oz lime juice

  • ½ oz triple sec
     

Instructions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice.

  2. Shake until chilled.

  3. Strain into a martini glass.

  4. Garnish with a lime twist or cranberries.

Cran-Lime Margarita
 

Ingredients:

  • 1½ oz tequila

  • ¾ oz Boundary Waters Berry Syrup

  • ½ oz lime juice

  • ½ oz triple sec
     

Instructions:

  1. Add ingredients to a shaker with ice.

  2. Shake until frosty.

  3. Strain into a salt-rimmed glass.

  4. Garnish with lime.

Boundary Waters Vodka Smash
 

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz vodka

  • 1 oz Boundary Waters Berry Syrup

  • Fresh cranberries (optional)

  • Splash club soda
     

Instructions:

  1. Shake vodka and syrup with ice.

  2. Strain into a rocks glass with fresh ice.

  3. Top with splash of soda.

  4. Add cranberries if desired.

Cran-Lime Gin Fizz
 

Ingredients:

  • 1½ oz gin

  • ¾ oz Boundary Waters Berry Syrup

  • ½ oz lemon juice

  • 3–4 oz club soda
     

Instructions:

  1. Shake gin, syrup, and lemon juice with ice.

  2. Strain into a tall glass.

  3. Top with club soda.

  4. Garnish with lemon or berries.

Cranberry-Lime Daiquiri
 

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz white rum

  • 1 oz Boundary Waters Berry Syrup

  • ½ oz fresh lime juice

  • ¼ oz orange liqueur (optional, but adds great depth)

  • Tiny pinch of salt (enhances the berry & citrus flavors)

  • Garnish: lime wheel or a few cranberries
     

Instructions:

  1. Add rum, Boundary Waters Berry Syrup, lime juice, orange liqueur (if using), and a pinch of salt to a shaker with ice.

  2. Shake vigorously until chilled.

  3. Strain into a chilled coupe glass.

  4. Garnish with a lime wheel or floating cranberries.

Minnesota Berry Mule
 

Ingredients:

  • 1½ oz vodka or gin

  • 1 oz Boundary Waters Berry Syrup

  • ½ oz lime juice

  • 4 oz ginger beer
     

Instructions:

  1. Fill a mule mug with ice.

  2. Add spirit, syrup, and lime juice.

  3. Top with ginger beer.

  4. Stir gently and garnish.

Berry Citrus Spritz Mimosa

Ingredients:

  • ½ oz Boundary Waters Berry Syrup

  • 2 oz orange juice

  • 3 oz champagne or prosecco

  • Splash of cranberry juice (optional)
     

Instructions:

  1. Pour Boundary Waters Berry Syrup into a champagne flute.

  2. Add orange juice and give a gentle swirl.

  3. Slowly top with champagne or prosecco.

  4. Add a splash of cranberry juice if desired.

Cranberry Whiskey Sour

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz whiskey

  • 1 oz Boundary Waters Berry Syrup

  • ¾ oz fresh lemon juice

  • Optional: 1 egg white for a silky, foamy texture

Instructions:

  1. If using egg white, add all ingredients to a shaker without ice and dry shake for 10–15 seconds to build foam.

  2. Add ice and shake again until well-chilled.

  3. Strain into a rocks glass (over ice or neat—your choice).

  4. Garnish with a lemon slice or fresh cranberries.

Berry Bourbon Smash Royale

Ingredients:

  • 1½ oz bourbon

  • 1 oz Boundary Waters Berry Syrup

  • ¾ oz lemon juice

  • 2–3 fresh berries (optional)

  • 2 oz prosecco or champagne

  • Lemon twist for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Add bourbon, syrup, lemon juice, and optional berries to a shaker.

  2. Shake with ice and strain into a rocks or coupe glass.

  3. Top with prosecco or champagne.

  4. Garnish with a lemon twist.

  5. Sip a bright, bubbly Northwoods-inspired cocktail.

Boundary Waters Basil Bramble

Ingredients:

  • 1½ oz gin

  • 1 oz Boundary Waters Berry Syrup

  • ¾ oz fresh lemon juice

  • 3–4 fresh basil leaves

  • Splash of club soda

  • Basil sprig and/or a few fresh cranberries for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Add basil leaves to a shaker and gently muddle—just enough to release aroma without shredding.

  2. Add gin, Boundary Waters Berry Syrup, lemon juice, and optional sweetener or bitters.

  3. Fill the shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled.

  4. Strain into a rocks glass filled with crushed ice.

  5. Add a splash of club soda for lift.

  6. Garnish with a fresh basil sprig and/or a couple cranberries for color.

Cran-Lime Mojito Blanco

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz white rum

  • 1 oz Boundary Waters Berry Syrup

  • ½ oz lime juice

  • 5–6 fresh mint leaves

  • 3 oz club soda

  • Mint + cranberries for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Add mint and lime juice to a tall glass and gently muddle.

  2. Add rum and Boundary Waters Berry Syrup.

  3. Add ice and top with club soda.

  4. Stir gently to combine.

  5. Garnish with mint and cranberries.

North Shore Sunset Paloma

Ingredients:

  • 1½ oz tequila blanco

  • 1 oz Boundary Waters Berry Syrup

  • 2 oz grapefruit juice

  • 2 oz club soda

  • Lime wedge for garnish
     

Instructions:

  1. Add tequila, syrup, and grapefruit juice to a glass of ice.

  2. Stir to combine.

  3. Top with club soda.

  4. Garnish with a lime wedge.

  5. Enjoy the pink-to-red “sunset” color.
