Honey Citrus Chicken Marinade
Bright, tangy, and perfectly balanced — great for chicken, shrimp, tofu, or veggies.
Ingredients:

3 tbsp Gopher Gold Syrup
-
1 tbsp olive oil
-
1 tbsp soy sauce
-
1 tsp minced garlic
-
½ tsp black pepper
-
1 tsp lime zest
Instructions:
-
Whisk together all ingredients in a bowl.

Add chicken (or shrimp/tofu) and coat thoroughly.
-
Marinate for 20 minutes (fish/tofu) or up to 4 hours (chicken).

Grill, bake, or sauté as desired.
-
Spoon extra marinade over the top while cooking for added glaze.
Lemon-Lime Honey Roasted Carrots
Sweet, citrusy, and caramelized with a glossy finish.
Ingredients:

2 tbsp Gopher Gold Syrup
-
1 tbsp melted butter or olive oil
-
1 lb carrots, cut into sticks
-
Pinch salt & pepper
Instructions:

Preheat oven to 400°F.
-
Toss carrots with syrup, butter/oil, salt, and pepper.

Spread on a baking sheet.
-
Roast 20–30 minutes, stirring halfway through.
-
Drizzle with a final teaspoon of syrup before serving.
Golden Citrus Vinaigrette
Perfect for salads, grain bowls, chicken, or roasted veggies.
Ingredients:

2 tbsp Gopher Gold Syrup
-
2 tbsp olive oil
-
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
-
1 tsp lemon juice
-
Pinch of salt
-
Optional: ½ tsp Dijon mustard
Instructions:

Whisk together syrup, vinegar, lemon juice, and salt (plus Dijon if using).

Stream in olive oil while whisking to emulsify.

Toss with greens, berries, goat cheese, nuts, quinoa, or roasted vegetables.
Gopher Gold Glazed Salmon
A bright, citrusy, honeyed glaze that caramelizes beautifully.
Ingredients:

3 tbsp Gopher Gold Syrup
-
1 tbsp soy sauce
-
1 tsp ginger (grated)
-
1 tsp lime juice
-
4 salmon fillets
Instructions:

Whisk syrup, soy sauce, ginger, and lime juice.

Brush generously over the salmon.

Bake at 400°F for 12–15 minutes, brushing again halfway.

Broil 1 minute at the end for caramelization.
-
Spoon leftover glaze over salmon before serving.
Citrus Honey Drizzle for Desserts
A quick, bright sauce for cheesecake, cake, pancakes, ice cream, or fruit.
Ingredients:

2 tbsp Gopher Gold Syrup
-
1 tsp butter
-
1 tsp water
-
Optional: pinch of lemon zest
Instructions:

Add syrup, butter, and water to a small saucepan.

Warm over low heat, stirring until glossy and slightly thickened.

Add zest for extra brightness.
-
Drizzle over desserts or breakfast dishes.
Citrus Whipped Cream
Ingredients:

1 cup heavy whipping cream (very cold)
-
2–3 tbsp Gopher Gold Syrup
-
½ tsp lemon zest
-
½ tsp lime zest
-
Optional: ¼ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:

Add cold heavy cream to a mixing bowl (chill the bowl for best results).

Begin whipping with a hand mixer or stand mixer on medium speed.
-
Once it starts to thicken, add Gopher Gold Syrup, lemon zest, lime zest, and vanilla (if using).
-
Continue whipping until soft-to-medium peaks form.
-
Taste and adjust sweetness by adding a little more syrup if desired.

Serve immediately or refrigerate up to 24 hours.
