Smoked Cherry Glaze (for pork, chicken, or turkey)
Ingredients:
• 2 tbsp Smoke & Sprig Syrup
• 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
• 1 tbsp butter
Instructions:
-
Add the Smoke & Sprig Syrup, balsamic vinegar, and butter to a small saucepan.
-
Heat over medium-low, stirring occasionally until the butter melts.
-
Simmer for 3–5 minutes, or until the mixture thickens into a glossy glaze.
-
Brush onto pork, chicken, or turkey during the last 10 minutes of cooking to prevent burning.
-
For extra flavor, brush a little more on right before serving.
Rosemary-Cherry Roasted Vegetables
Ingredients:
• 2 tbsp Smoke & Sprig Syrup
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• 1–2 cloves garlic, minced
• Salt & pepper, to taste
• Your choice of vegetables: carrots, sweet potatoes, or Brussels sprouts
Instructions:
-
Preheat your oven to 400°F.
-
In a large bowl, whisk together the Smoke & Sprig Syrup, olive oil, and minced garlic.
-
Add salt & pepper to taste.
-
Add your vegetables and toss until everything is evenly coated.
-
Spread the veggies on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
-
Roast for 25–35 minutes, stirring once halfway through, until tender and caramelized.
-
Serve warm and enjoy the rosemary-cherry sweetness with a subtle smoky, garlicky finish.
Sheet-Pan Dinner Option:
Add sliced smoked sausage or diced chicken breasts directly to the pan with the vegetables. Toss everything in the glaze together and roast as directed for an easy, complete meal.
Spiced Holiday Cocktail Cranberries
Ingredients:
• ¼ cup Smoke & Sprig Syrup
• 1 cup fresh cranberries
• Water (enough to just cover the berries)
• 1 cinnamon stick
• 2–3 strips orange peel (freshly peeled)
• Optional: 2–3 whole cloves
Instructions:
-
Add the cranberries, Smoke & Sprig Syrup, cinnamon stick, orange peel, and cloves (if using) to a small saucepan.
-
Pour in just enough water to barely cover the cranberries.
-
Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
-
Cook for 5–8 minutes, or until the cranberries soften and begin to burst.
-
Remove from heat and let the berries cool in the spiced syrup to absorb more flavor.
-
Use as a festive cocktail garnish, spoon over warm brie, or add to charcuterie for a sweet-smoky holiday upgrade.
Smoky Cherry Dessert Drizzle

• ½ tsp vanilla extract
• Optional: pinch of cinnamon or a tiny pinch of salt
Instructions:
-
Add the Smoke & Sprig Syrup, water, and butter to a small saucepan.
-

-
Stir in the vanilla extract, and add a pinch of cinnamon or salt if you want a deeper, more complex flavor.
-
Simmer for 1–2 minutes until slightly thickened.
-
Drizzle warm over ice cream, brownies, cheesecake, pound cake, or anything that deserves a sweet-smoky cherry upgrade.
