Cocktail Recipes

Twin Cities Basil Sour
 
Ingredients:

  • 2 oz whiskey or bourbon

  • 1 oz Twin Cities Citrus Syrup

  • 1 oz lemon juice

  • Egg white optional
     

Instructions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a shaker.

  2. Dry shake (if using egg white), then add ice and shake again.

  3. Strain into a rocks glass.

  4. Garnish with basil or lemon peel.

Uptown Gin Cooler
 
Ingredients:

  • 1½ oz gin

  • 1 oz Twin Cities Citrus Syrup

  • 2 oz soda water

  • Fresh basil
     

Instructions:

  1. Add gin and syrup to a tall glass of ice.

  2. Stir gently.

  3. Top with soda water.

  4. Garnish with a basil lea

Northeast Lemon-Basil Margarita
 
Ingredients:

  • 1½ oz tequila blanco

  • 1 oz Twin Cities Citrus Syrup

  • ½ oz triple sec

  • ½ oz lime juice
     

Instructions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice.

  2. Shake until cold.

  3. Strain into a salted or sugared glass.

  4. Garnish with lime or basil.

Twin Cities Basil Collins 
 

Ingredients:

  • 1½ oz vodka or gin

  • 1 oz Twin Cities Citrus Syrup

  • ¾ oz lemon juice

  • 3–4 oz club soda
     

Instructions:

  1. Build in a tall glass over ice.

  2. Stir gently.

  3. Top with soda.

  4. Garnish with basil and lemon.

Lemon Basil Mojito

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz white rum

  • 1 oz Twin Cities Citrus Syrup

  • 5–6 mint leaves

  • ½ oz lime juice

  • Soda water


Instructions:

  1. Muddle mint gently in a tall glass.

  2. Add rum, syrup, and lime juice.

  3. Add ice and top with soda.

  4. Garnish with basil or mint.

Basil 75
 
Ingredients:

  • 1 oz gin

  • 1 oz Twin Cities Citrus Syrup

  • ½ oz lemon juice

  • 3 oz champagne
     

Instructions:

  1. Shake gin, syrup, and lemon with ice.

  2. Strain into a flute.

  3. Top with champagne.

  4. Garnish with a basil ribbon.

North Loop Smash
 

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz whiskey

  • 1 oz Twin Cities Citrus Syrup

  • 1 oz lemon juice

  • Basil leaf for garnish
     

Instructions:

  1. Add whiskey, syrup, and lemon to shaker.

  2. Shake and strain over crushed ice.

  3. Garnish with basil.

Lemon-Basil Paloma

Ingredients:

  • 1½ oz tequila

  • 1 oz Twin Cities Citrus Syrup

  • 2 oz grapefruit juice

  • 2 oz club soda

Instructions:

  1. Add tequila, syrup, and grapefruit to a glass with ice.

  2. Stir and top with soda.

  3. Garnish with basil or grapefruit wedge.

Citrus Basil Spritz
 

Ingredients:

  • 1½ oz vodka or 1 oz Aperol + ½ oz vodka

  • 1 oz Twin Cities Citrus Syrup

  • 2 oz sparkling wine

  • 2 oz soda water
     

Instructions:

  1. Add vodka (and Aperol if using) to a glass with ice.

  2. Add syrup and stir.

  3. Top with sparkling wine and soda water.

  4. Garnish with basil.

Twin Cities Basil Mule
 

Ingredients:

  • 1½ oz vodka

  • 1 oz Twin Cities Citrus Syrup

  • ½ oz lime juice

  • 4 oz ginger beer
     

Instructions:

  1. Build in a mule mug filled with ice.

  2. Add vodka, syrup, and lime.

  3. Top with ginger beer.

  4. Stir and garnish with basil.

Lemon Basil Daiquiri
 

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz white rum

  • 1 oz Twin Cities Citrus Syrup

  • ½ oz lime juice

  • ½ oz fruit juice (pineapple, white grape, or pear work beautifully)
     

Instructions:

  1. Add rum, Twin Cities Citrus Syrup, lime juice, and fruit juice to a shaker filled with ice.

  2. Shake well until chilled.

  3. Strain into a coupe glass.

  4. Garnish with a lime wheel or fresh basil leaf.

The Basilica
 

Ingredients:

  • 1½ oz vodka

  • ½ oz elderflower liqueur

  • 1 oz Twin Cities Citrus Syrup

  • ½ oz lemon juice
     

Instructions:

  1. Shake all ingredients with ice.

  2. Strain into a chilled martini glass.

  3. Garnish with basil or lemon peel.
